Natalie is driven by her passion to create positive impact, to identify and find solutions for problems that are often overlooked, especially within vulnerable communities. In her professional and academic experience, she has demonstrated an ability to do just this.
Natalie graduated with First Class Honours from a Bachelor of Industrial Design at the University of New South Wales, and joined ThinkPlace with an extensive background in design-led innovation and human-centred design work. For example, in a past project for Indi Sprint, she designed an innovative medical solution to tackle the prevalence of Type 2 diabetes in Indigenous communities by understanding the stigma associated with Western medicine. Moreover, in addition to her work in developing educational tools and ergonomic products ranging from homeware, apparel and health industries, she has a keen awareness of the logistics, manufacturing and financial aspects of the design process.
By building on past experiences, her strong drive to create change and growing her skillset, has allowed Natalie to strive to continue delivering human-centred solutions to human-centred problems. Thus, she aspires to create effective solutions with large-scale positive impact without compromise.
