Time and time again, Laura has seen how design can be used to create positive change at all levels of society and across all contexts. Having lived and worked in both developed and developing countries, she is passionate about working collaboratively to help improve the lives of people by tackling challenges using both top-down and bottom-up approaches.
With a background in strategy, marketing and design, Laura has experience as an in-house changemaker. She has also helped to design and manage change as an experienced consultant and project manager.
Laura is a natural relationship builder, with the ability to rapidly grasp both a macro and micro understanding of the challenge at hand. She excels at making the complex simple and telling stories that help clients put themselves in other people’s shoes.
Laura has worked with the regulatory, family justice, health and business sectors in Singapore, as well as across South East Asia in health, nutrition and disaster risk reduction. Expertise in international development, combined with the skills to design and conduct ethnographic research in any context, gives her the ability to quickly add value to any international design project.
Laura holds Bachelor degrees in Psychology, Marketing and International Business.
